GHOST OF THE CURRENTS, my new film project exploring the Mekong River, which I’m developing with Mod Napakarn and Kalil Pitsuwan, has received the National Fund from THACCA, alongside other lovely friends and talented Thai filmmakers!
A big thank you to the juries and THACCA for believing in our project. I know the competition was tough since all Thai filmmakers applied for the same fund, which has just come back after some time. But now, we can finally see some light, maybe this film won’t take seven years to finish like the first one hahaha..
Thank you to our team, artists, and all the NGOs from both the northern and northeastern regions who have been supporting us with research and project development for over two years now.
Wish us luck on the journey ahead!
