Our programs

FILM EDUCATION & STORYTELLING
CR Film Club develops filmmaking and storytelling skills through hands-on workshops focused on social, cultural, and environmental issues in Northern Thailand. Programs such as Mekong Film Workshop, Through the Lens of Climate, Through the Lens of Smog, and Through the Lens of Rivers bring together emerging filmmakers, students, and experienced film professionals to explore local issues and transform their perspectives into films.

CINEMA & COMMUNITY
CR Film Club uses cinema as a space for cultural exchange, public dialogue, and environmental awareness. Through programs such as Take Side with Nature and Open World Cinema, the club brings films from Thailand and around the world to Chiang Rai audiences, accompanied by screenings, discussions, workshops, and conversations with filmmakers and artists. These programs aim to connect local communities with diverse perspectives and encourage dialogue around social, cultural, and environmental issues.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH & YOUTH
CR Film Club brings cinema and creative learning directly to schools and local communities through its School Tour programs. The initiative screens films related to the environment and climate change for students in Chiang Rai, while creating opportunities for discussion, reflection, and artistic expression. By bringing filmmaking and cinema beyond conventional cultural spaces, the program aims to make film education more accessible and encourage young people to engage with the issues affecting their communities.
