CORNER is an independent cinema in Chiang Rai, established to promote learning and inspire audiences through the art of film. It focuses on creating opportunities for local communities and young people to experience a diverse range of cinema, including independent films, documentaries, and films connected to important issues such as the environment, culture, and society. The project also aims to support Chiang Rai’s identity as a city of art by expanding access to cinema and encouraging a deeper understanding of film as an art form that can create positive social impact.

CORNER’s main activities feature screenings of films across different genres alongside discussions and exchange activities, including panel discussions. These activities encourage creative thinking and create a space for dialogue between artists, filmmakers, and the public. The project also extends its activities to local educational institutions to support learning and inspire young people through cinema.

With a vision to foster artistic diversity through film, CORNER not only supports the development of the local arts community but also contributes to strengthening Chiang Rai as a vibrant and diverse art city. It is grounded in the belief that cinema has the power to connect art, community, and social change in meaningful ways.

CORNER is currently undergoing renovation and will reopen soon.
