Itt will be joining the panel “Mekong Through Artistic Lens” on June 27, 1–4 PM, at Sirindhorn Art Center, Loei, as part of the GMS Educational Programme. I’ll be sharing my work on human construction and the Mekong River, alongside other inspiring artists.
My second feature film project “Ghost of the Currents” has been selected for the ART-HOUSE FILM PROJECTS (Workshop and Project Market) at the Danang Asian Film Festival 2025!
Although I won’t be attending in person this time, the project will be well represented by Kalil Pitsuwan (Co-Director/Writer) and Napakan Boontarig (Producer).
If you’re attending the festival and interested in our project, feel free to connect with them there.
TorinoFilmLab has just selected our project, “Ghost of the Currents,” for TFL Next – Green Narratives, a film lab that focuses on authentically integrating inclusive and environmentally conscious storytelling! I will be participating along with my co-director/writer, Kalil Pitsuwan. This will be our first script lab for the project, and it will help us navigate the challenges ahead. Thank you so much!
GHOST OF THE CURRENTS, my new film project exploring the Mekong River, which I’m developing with Mod Napakarn and Kalil Pitsuwan, has received the National Fund from THACCA, alongside other lovely friends and talented Thai filmmakers!
A big thank you to the juries and THACCA for believing in our project. I know the competition was tough since all Thai filmmakers applied for the same fund, which has just come back after some time. But now, we can finally see some light, maybe this film won’t take seven years to finish like the first one hahaha..
Thank you to our team, artists, and all the NGOs from both the northern and northeastern regions who have been supporting us with research and project development for over two years now.
