Back at Cannes once again!
From ทะเลของฉันฯ – Solids by the Seashore to my second feature GHOST OF THE CURRENTS.
I’ll be joining ‘Thai Pitch at Cannes’ on May 19–20 at the Thai Pavilion, Village International, with Mod Napakarn (Producer) and Kalil Pitsuwan (Co-director/Writer)
This year feels special with the world premiere of A Useful Ghost, a Thai film with a new cinematic language by Ratchapoom Boonbunchachoke.
With the support of THACCA, this year Thai cinema has a wider presence at the festival. More emerging filmmakers are here, including short filmmakers experiencing Cannes for the first time. It redefined the sacredness of Cannes, once distant for Thai filmmakers, closer than before.
