Founder / Director
Itt Patiparn Boontarig is a Thai filmmaker working across both fiction and documentary, with a focus on themes of equality, memory, and the socio-environmental impact of man-made dams. His award-winning short documentary Multiverse of Mekong (2023) explores the political and ecological realities of the river, reflecting his ongoing engagement with the region through non-fiction form.
His first feature film, Solids by the Seashore (2023), won the LG OLED New Currents Award and the NETPAC Award at the Busan International Film Festival. The film also received the Prix du Jury Award and the Coup de Coeur INALCO Award at the 30th Festival International des Cinémas d’Asie de Vesoul, establishing him as a distinctive new voice in Southeast Asian cinema.
Earlier in his career, he served as assistant director on Manta Ray (2018), which premiered and won the Orizzonti Award for Best Film at the Venice Film Festival.
