ERROR BROTHERS
Error Brothers is an independent film production company based in Chiang Rai, Northern Thailand, founded by filmmaker and producer Itt Patiparn Boontarig. The company develops auteur-driven fiction and documentary films, supporting emerging filmmakers beyond Thailand’s traditional film centers and focusing on distinctive voices, socially engaged stories, and international co-production.
Its productions include SOLIDS BY THE SEASHORE (2023), co-produced with Diversion and Mit Out Sound Films, which premiered at Busan International Film Festival and won the LG OLED New Currents Award and NETPAC Award, followed by awards at Vesoul. CRYSTALLIZED MEMORY (2022), directed by Chonchanok Thanatteepwong, premiered at IFFR and screened at New Directors/New Films in New York.
Error Brothers is currently developing SO LONG, MAESALONG and GHOST OF THE CURRENTS, with support from Thailand’s Department of Cultural Promotion, while seeking international co-production and financing partners, as well as sales and distribution relationships, to bring Northern Thai stories to wider international audiences.
Error Brothers also runs CR Film Club and CORNER independent cinema, supporting local film culture in Northern Thailand.
